you bet...let me know it works out
when you compare how well they grow with the different plantings
I've had some garlic bulbs grow without ever putting out a top
thought they were dead....
and then when I'd dig ...I'd find bulbs that had grown underground
like tulip bulbs do
when I planted in the spring and tried fall harvesting
really tiny cloves is all I got
Now I actually plant mostly elephant garlic
and by year 2...not only do I get nice cloves
they're hotter than the devil....
our cold nights cause this to happen
makes my jalapeño peppers way hotter than normal as well
1st yr my elephant garlic puts out the thick wide leaves
by 2nd yr
they look more like normal garlic leaves but still 3' tall
my other normal size garlics only grow to 2' tall
